Arm stretch marks, explained
Stretch marks on the arms are scars in the dermis of the upper arms, biceps and armpits, left where the skin stretched faster than it could adapt. The NHS lists the upper arms among the common places for them. The usual reasons are fast muscle growth from training, weight gain and growth spurts. Stretch Mark Removal London explains why they form and what treatment can do.
New marks on the arms are red, purple or darker than the skin around them and fade to pale lines over a year or two. They show in short sleeves, which makes them one of the more visible places for marks, and the area is small enough to keep the cost of a course down. The guide to reducing the appearance of stretch marks compares the options.
